The cottage was well-maintained and had all the modern amenities you could ask for. The garden was huge and there were plenty of outdoor seating areas to relax in. It was a nice touch to be welcomed with a bottle of wine and fresh eggs. The location of the cottage was ideal - it was in a semi-rural setting, providing a peaceful retreat, but it was also conveniently located close to key attractions and amenities. it was a great place to spend Christmas and I would highly recommend it.
There were a couple of downsides to our stay. the heating in the cottage was not very effective, so it was a bit chilly at times, especially during the winter season.
